Eight amazing people and organisations were honoured this year at the 2018 Pride of Stevenage Awards.
The awards celebrated acts of kindness and selflessness, and recognised the efforts of just some of Stevenage’s local heroes who regularly ‘go the extra mile’. They were presented at the Stevenage Community Reception held at the Forum Banqueting Suite in Stevenage. The evening was hosted by the Mayor of Stevenage, Councillor Mrs Margaret Notley who said “We have honoured some of Stevenage’s unsung heroes, those wonderful individuals who give their time, passion and skills to make Stevenage the great community that it is. Congratulations to them all.”
The winners were selected by a panel of judges from the many nominations made by members of the public.
